Why go to tournaments?
Tournaments can be a fantastic way to feel part of a wider Parkinson’s community. For many people this is in itself hugely inspiring. It’s also a great way to try competing, which you may or may not want to do.
Parkinson’s Table Tennis Tournaments 2026
Here is a list of tournaments that are expected to take place in 2026. They differ in terms of length, size, venue and cost.
Brighton (June 20-21 2026) Brighton Table Tennis Club, Kemptown, Brighton
Mediterranean Games (June 26-28 2026) Malta
Church Mountain Open (June 27-28 2026) Kirchberg, Switzerland.
Scottish International Open (August 15-16 2026) Largs, Scotland. The tournament is at the National Sport Training Centre, Inverclyde, which has accommodation on site. Registration, and booking for on-site accommodation, is likely to open on April 1. Largs is on the coast, about 40 minutes from Glasgow. French Open (September 12-13 2026) Le Mans, France. Registration is open. Le Mans is between Paris and Brittany. (Organised by Pingpongparkinson France)
PingPongParkinson World Championship (September 25-30 2026) Hanover, Germany
Registration is open. There will be about 1,000 participants. (Organised by PingPongParkinson)
World Parkinson’s Table Tennis Championships (October 2026) Shanghai, China
