      Parkinson’s England Table Tennis

Exercise is the most effective way to slow down the progression of Parkinson’s, and table tennis is one of the most effective forms of exercise. It is aerobic, improves hand-eye co-ordination, balance and reflexes, and stimulates various parts of the brain.

Table tennis is very sociable and very accessible.

Table tennis is good fun, whether you are a complete beginner, an occasional social player, or an experienced competitor.

There are many local groups in England, many of which have been set up by people with Parkinson’s.

Hundreds of people with Parkinson’s in England play table tennis regularly. Many take part in local, UK and international competitions, both Parkinson’s specific, and mainstream
