Resources – tournaments and events
Why go to tournaments?
🤝 Tournaments can be a fantastic way to feel part of a wider Parkinson’s community.
- For many people this is in itself hugely inspiring.
- It’s also a great way to try competing, which you may or may not want to do.
We update this page regularly. Please let us know if you know of any Parkinson’s table tennis tournaments, training camps or other events not yet listed. This will help us keep this resource as complete and up to date as possible.

Rob Cook, Co-chair
“The inaugural UK Championship was the first time I’d met other people with Parkinson’s. I found a welcoming, sharing community…”

Parkinson’s England Table Tennis vision statement
Our vision is of an environment where:
- everybody living with Parkinson’s has the opportunity to play table tennis locally
- and can be part of a supportive, inclusive community, locally, nationally and internationally
- through which people with Parkinson’s can support and inspire each other, and thrive.

Gary Lee, Secretary
“I have found table tennis to be a powerful way to focus on ability rather than illness. When I play, my attention is on the ball, not on Parkinson’s.”
